The management board of the leading European association of railway clusters ERCI decided at its meeting in Birmingham on May 23 to accept the membership application of RCSEE- the Railway Cluster for South East Europe. ERCI now counts 14 European rail industry clusters (> ERCI Partners).
Milan Vučković, Coordinator of the RCSEE: ‘Becoming the 14th member of ERCI is significant for the companies in our regional cluster; specifically for small- and medium-sized export-oriented enterprises, as they will have an opportunity to participate in consortia with numerous other European companies to secure finances for research and development of new products from several EU funds. In this way companies will have an opportunity to put forward their innovations and products for financing and later placement on European and non-European markets, and also to take part in consortia in production process with other companies and partners.’
