As every year, the ERCI honours groundbreaking innovation projects from companies in the European rail industry with its Innovation Awards – this year for the 9th time. This year’s awards ceremony will take place at the Berlin-Brandenburg joint stand as part of TRAKO 2023.

The ERCI Innovation Awards are organised by the clusters that are members of the European Railway Cluster Initiative and are awarded to European companies that offer products, systems, technologies, processes or services with proven innovative features. The winners are selected by a European jury of independent experts from industry, research and public authorities.

Selection criteria
Winners will be selected on the basis of the following criteria:

• Innovative features of the solution
• Economic and social benefits for the railway sector
• Integration of new digital technologies
• Impact on human capital
• Creation of innovation through networking (cooperation with other private or public institutions)

The ERCI Innovation Awards Ceremony will take place at the Trako International Railway Fair 2023 in Danzig. It will be hosted by the Transport, Mobility and Logistics Cluster Berlin-Brandenburg. We look forward to welcoming you on 19th September 2023 at the joint stand of the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region (Hall D, Stand D24).
