Plastecowood (United Kingdom) produces a carbon negative replacement for wood, concrete and steel made from mixed plastic packaging waste, including flexible plastics. The material offers ultra long life and cost savings in many applications which can be seen in several case studies.
carbonauten (Germany) – the minus CO2 factory – develops and produces carbon-negative compounds. The resulting plastic parts have improved properties and are cost-effective. Their presentation describes the production of biocarbons from wood residues which are a certified CO2 sink, as they permanently store carbon from the atmosphere. For the first time, seat shells and armrests of the ICE were injection molded from CO2-negative plastic with a biocarbon content of 33%.
