2nd Acceleration Event ‘Artificial Intelligence Made Easy
for the Railway and Mobility Value Chain’

After the 1st edition of June 2023 in Firenze-Italy, DITECFER and its technology-leading members have built this unmissable event for Italian and European organisations, private and public, working in the Railway and Mobility Value Chain.
The event is conceived as a ‘Learning Accelerator’ that, with internationally renowned experts and practitioners, will explore the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in Al use for Industry, focusing on applications for the Railway sector and Industrial processes.
The Accelerator will offer inspirational talks, presentations and discussions on use-cases, learning demos, experience-sharing and valuable networking during the three days.
Topics include: Al: What it is and what it is not. A metaphysical journey; Legal frameworks for Al in the European Union and overseas: impact on competition and European industries’ internationalisation; Resource optimisation in Al: from DeepSeek and new LLMs to value chain decisions; Traditional Al vs. Generative Al: which for which uses, and use-cases for Railways and for Industrial processes; Building Al Agents for Rail and Demo; Al Trustworthiness; Cybersecurity for Al, and Al for Cybersecurity; New Al paradigms in companies: Skills and competences, Datasets Management, Validation of Al-based systems; Al and Safety standards; GenAl technological trends and Demo; Al and Finance: Return on Investment, Collaborative projects and funding; Vision: Al impacts on the future of Railways.
The Accelerator is supported by ‘ERCI-European Railway Clusters Initiative’ and the EU-funded projects ‘LEADER 2030’ (Europe’s Rail) and ‘IDEALIST’ (Horizon Europe) as key event for the Digital and Green Transition of the European Rail Value Chain.
The Accelerator is delivered by DITECFER as ‘Training Service’ within the ‘AI MAGISTER EDIH-European Digital Innovation Hub’.
